This barn-turned-home suffered a devastating fire one cold February day.  With ashes barely cooled we assessed the ruins.  We determined that the foundation and timber frame (though badly charred) were sound, and decided to rebuild.  We rearranged living spaces--to improve internal flow, and added more windows and dormers--to bring in more light as well as provide views out. We upgraded the HVAC with a geothermal loop and combined radiant floor heat with forced hot and cold air.  At 10,000 plus square feet the home is large enough to have not only all the standard living spaces but also a volley ball court/ball room, a work shop, and an exercise room.
